Dennis Batchelor is an entrepreneur with a background in electrical engineering. Dennis had a dream growing up of inventing products and earning patents. Along the way, various people influenced him to dream bigger and start a company. Each of these dreams has come true, and Dennis continues to pursue entrepreneurial interests as well as giving back to others so they can achieve their dreams.

Dennis is married to Ellen Batchelor, and they live in Longmont, Colorado. Situated about 30 minutes north of Denver and 15 minutes east of Boulder, Longmont has its roots in agriculture. Dennis grew up in Montana, and Longmont has some similarities to his home town of Great Falls.

Dennis moved to Fort Collins, Colorado from Bozeman, Montana in 1995 to work for Hewlett-Packard. Until 2003, he worked in the semiconductor industry as a design engineer developing ASIC computer chips for HP’s high-end servers. Since then, Dennis has worked as a real estate broker and now an entrepreneur. With co-founders David Schwaab and Nathan Probst, Dennis helped to define, develop, promote, and sell the concept of Rebit – ridiculously simple backup. In May 2007, the founders recruited a senior management team and proceeded to raise funds for an exciting business opportunity in the data storage industry. Now, Rebit is on track to deliver industry changing software through OEM relationships as well as through Rebit branded products.
